  • Green pea sauce
  • 1 can green peas
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup margarine
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Bring to a boil and add 2 tablespoons corn starch (diluted in water)
  • and allow to boil and thicken to make a rich, creamy, delicious sauce.
  1. Line a baking tray with foil.
  2. Place cod fish on tray.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the top and a squirt of lemon juice.
  4. Sprinkle some bread crumbs over each piece and add cheese.
  5. I did half with grated Parmesan and half with cheddar/mozzarella.
  6. Bake for half an hour at 350.
  7. I served mashed potatoes and roast veggies with the fish.
  8. I topped everything off with a simple sauce that my sister Jean (Candi’s mom) used to serve with her fish.
